About the Scholarship

 

The Jerry Beckendorf Community Service Scholarship recognizes outstanding student volunteerism and encourages future generations of Union advocates.

​

Since 2003, over $123,670 has been awarded to 148 graduating seniors of Union families living in Pierce County by local Unions, businesses, and individuals to assist graduates in achieving their dreams of attending college, university, or trade or technical school.​

​

Applications are open to Pierce County graduating seniors who have shown dedication to community service and who have a parent or guardian that is a member of a Union.
